When one does think of the importance of online courses, there exist multiple opinions regarding the same. The two schools propounding the relevance of online courses especially in the field of law are as follows –

The first believes that online courses are not favorable in a field as practical and pragmatic as law since the filed in itself requires a hands on, on the job experience so as to actually explore the horizons and shades that the legal field has to offer.

It does seem like a sensible thought process considering that the entire importance and premise of internships in the legal profession on a whole is to inculcate professional, pragmatic decorum amongst those who are still fairly amateur and are pursuing the degree.

But, I on the other hand am primarily in favour of online law courses. Instead of wallowing away in the guilt of not doing anything at all, these law courses add value to both your Curriculum Vitae as well as your skill set. Ever law course provides for a great learning experience at minimal cost, where at your own pace and leisure one can pursue the various modules of the course and then ultimately give the exam.

If you are someone who is either aspiring for law or is pursuing it, online law courses are surely the thing for you because they help in vast expansion of knowledge. They are beneficial for practitioners and even experts and provide for a lot of knowledge in a particular field or on a particular subject. These courses are available on the most valuable and hot topics and range from anywhere between 2 weeks to 10 weeks.

The best part about these courses is that you can decide on where to study, when to study and how to study the material while also side by side conveniently following the degree that you are doing from your college.

Opportunity to Switch Careers: When you are ready for a career change & want to become a lawyer, you can switch your career. There should be nothing which stops you from grabbing this opportunity.

Lower Cost: The fees of online law courses are much cheaper than the traditional law courses.

Saves Time: If you currently doing a job or tied up with the family obligation, the online law courses will be the best career option for you. You can study from office, home & at any place. Wherever you have an internet connection you can attend the online law classes.

Practice as a Solo: If you don’t want to join any firm or organizations & work as a solo practitioner, attending law online courses is the right choice for you.

And thus, while the first school believes that it is better to have on the job experience, they cannot negate the fact that online law courses indeed are valuable and definitely and good choice.
